These terms have been kept brief and meaningful - please read them.  They are subject to change, so check back occasionally.

IncomeEngineering.com is intolerant of spammers and others who would manipulate the website content to dishonestly promote a given business interest.

Members are allowed to place affiliate marketing links, links to personal websites, business websites, etc. in their Member Profile pages - NOWHERE ELSE.  Any signatures on posts to forum, chat windows, Instant messages, email or comments may only link to members Profile page.

Any promotion or endorsement must be presented as such, not disguised as, for instance, an impartial review.

Any business representative must openly present himself and his profile as such.  We welcome representatives from relevant businesses, but will not tolerate spam, misrepresentation, masquerades, or other such sabotage.  Again, any business links must be confined to the Member Profile page.

Any content/linkage of an irrelevant or inflammatory nature, such as religion or politics, is also to be avoided.

In the case of Member Submitted Articles, external links will only be tolerated if they are directly relevant to the article content and necessary to the substance of the article.  This is a vague distinction, subject to IE staff judgment, but if the author's intent is to honestly create a useful contribution, it's likely to be fine.

ALL linking, promotion, and other content is, of course, subject to the approval of the IE staff, even where such decisions may seem to conflict with these terms.  The goal is to provide useful, honest information to the Members of the IE website.

In signing-up for membership, you are requesting to receive communications from IncomeEngineering.com... In practice, however, advertising/newsletter content will most often have separate opt-in list(s) for those who want it.  We don't want to be accused of spamming, but we despise spam as much as anyone, and think that this policy should be good for all concerned.  Please contact Administration with any concerns.

Obviously, there are no guarantees of any kind associated with this website, its content, products, or anything else.  Most content expresses ideas that are a matter of debatable opinion, and acting on any information or ideas herein could result in loss of business, money, time, glee, dignity, fingers, clothing, fruits&vegetables, hair, or a horribly painful death (among other things).  In other words, this website is here to help out, but there are no guarantees.  Get used to it - when you're in business for yourself,  there are never any guarantees...  You  want a guarantee, go buy a toaster.
